Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in and work with the design team at the counter, Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Booking an appointment is an option, never a requirement. An in-person design consultation is required for framing three-dimensional objects, so bring that one to us.
Where are you?
1671 Placentia Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92627, where Best Framing has been in business since 2002. A 10,000 square foot showroom and production facility on the west side of Costa Mesa, with the design counter at the front.
What are your working hours?
Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm, and closed on Sunday. Yes, we are open on Saturdays.
What do I need to bring?
All you need is your art. It can be physical, digital, or still an idea, and from there we work with you to execute your vision. At the counter you hold real mouldings, mats and glazing against the piece rather than picking from swatches on a screen.

What can you actually make?
Best Framing is a complete service business: custom framing with acid-free mats and museum-quality or UV-protective glazing, archival fine-art and giclée printing, scanning up to 600 dpi, signs and displays, custom mirrors, installation, artist fulfillment, and delivery and pickup. Scanning, printing, framing, milling, mounting and crating all happen in the same building. For anything this does not cover, give us a call or come to the store.
How long does custom framing take?
Custom mirrors are typically ready for pickup within two weeks, and we confirm the date when you order. Custom framing depends on the piece, and the turnaround is quoted when we design it with you at the counter.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver in and around Orange County for work we have produced, and we can arrange pickup of large items to be framed. Our crew professionally installs art and mirrors. Longer-distance orders are packed and shipped according to their size and handling needs; large or delicate pieces get a custom wood crate on our freight accounts, and we confirm receiving requirements before booking shipment.
